Community Involvement

The USC Sports Medicine has developed collaborations with our local high school and youth athletic clubs to provide team coverage, pre-participation physicals, and educational events.  In the South Bay we have provided pre-participation physicals to the LA Junior Kings hockey club, and educational events to local organizations and physical therapy groups in the region.

In the Santa Clarita Valley, USC has partnered with Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Outreach Athletic Trainer Program to help provide care to athletes of the William S. Hart Union High School District which encompasses seven high schools and 22,000 students. Our goal is to make world class athletic medical care available to all of the student athletes in our community.
